The Deacs travel to Tallahassee. With Wake overcoming their brutal stretch, the focus turns to more winnable games, such as this one. The Seminoles feel the pressure as well with games against Clemson, NC State, Notre Dame, and Florida coming up on the schedule after this contest.
Wake and Florida State are both coming off the bye, helping both teams prepare even more for this pivotal matchup as the winner of this contest may be the difference between a bowl bid or staying home for bowl season.
WR Greg Dortch may not be 100% but he will be a factor. After spending time watching a lot of film, the Deacs hope to minimize mistakes, especially on giving up big plays.
Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson on the ACC call alludes to how he spent much of the bye week - extensively analyzing tape of where the breakdowns have occurred leading to the big plays they've given up so far this season.
