The Deacs are back on the road for the first time since the season began all the way back on August 30th. Needless to say it has been a while since we have played a game away from BB&T Field. Now on the back half of the schedule, Wake Forest needs just 3 wins to get bowl eligible. They have a chance to get 1 against a 3-3 Florida State team who has struggled some this year, especially on offense; the Noles are averaging just 344 yards and 23 points per game on the offensive side of the ball this season. On the flip side, Wake’s defense is giving up 500 yards and 36.8 points per game, so something has to give. With the bye week, the Deacs should be relatively healthy and well rested, so hopefully they can make some noise in the sunshine state today.
