I wish I was shocked

Still don’t feel like Bz

That sucked. The Deacs started out hanging in there, genuinely, even going up by 5. Duke got to the line and started to open up the floor and then the Deacs cooled off and it was over from there. Marvin Bagley III is genuinely a monster. I don’t envy anyone trying to defend him. That said, oofah some of those non-closeouts on three attempts. Bryant Crawford at least did his thing offensively, getting 21 points on a decent 8-17 shooting, 2-4 from deep, and it’s worth noting his percentage went down as his shots got wilder as the hour grew late. There were a couple of terrible shots but that was the least of our worries today.

BSD faithful, I know things have been tense lately so let me clarify some stuff. The guards were TERRIBLE against Virginia Tech. Awful, selfish play. I don’t know if there’s been a game this year that they didn’t shoot too much or commit stupid turnovers. Our defense has shown flashes of being capable but dear God, the rest of the time it hurts. But I’m not jumping off the ledge. I understand people are sick of this but I think there are briighter days ahead. I’m sorry if anyone felt like I was blindly fine with this or that it’s not okay or logical to be mad. It is.

But I think we can start a fire without burning it all down. On to the next. Go Deacs.
