The ACC announced today that the Wake Forest - Clemson football game on October 7th in Death Valley will kick off at 12 PM and be broadcast on either ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2.
Wake Forest at Clemson, noon, ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 – network designation after the games of 9/30
— Deacons Illustrated (@WakeRivals) September 25, 2017
The channel that this game lands on will likely be influenced heavily by what Clemson and Wake can do this weekend. The Tigers travel to Blacksburg to play Virginia Tech under the lights at Lane Stadium, while Wake Forest hosts Florida State to try to get to 5-0 for the first time since 2006.
If both teams win then it will likely be a matchup of two top 20 teams vying for the top spot in the Atlantic when the game is played.
This is a sharp turn of events for Wake Forest, who has not seen any of the first four games televised before taking on Florida State on ABC this Saturday at 3:30.
More great news and visibility for the Demon Deacons and there are two great opportunities coming up to make some noise on the national stage against two very good football teams.
