Wake Forest - Florida State set for 3:30 on ABC/ESPN2 on September 30th

The Deacs will finally be on television!

NCAA Football: Chick-fil-A Kickoff-Alabama vs Florida State Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

The ACC announced that the Florida State at Wake Forest football game in Winston-Salem on Saturday, September 30th has been set for 3:30 on ABC/ESPN2.

This will be the first time that the Deacs will be broadcast on television, as the first four games of the year have been available as streaming only.

Florida State currently sits at 0-1, losing its season opener to Alabama. Its next two games against Louisiana-Monroe and Miami were canceled after Hurricane Irma came through the state of Florida last week.

In addition to losing valuable practice time and enduring a long time off, the Seminoles also lost starting quarterback Deondre Francois to a litany of knee injuries that will sideline him for the rest of the year.

This is an ideal tailgate time and should be a really fun lead up to the game, especially if the Deacs can knock off Appalachian State to get to 4-0 heading into a showdown with the Seminoles.
