For the second consecutive week a Wake Forest defensive back has won the ACC DBOW award. A week after cornerback Essang Bassey took home the honors, redshirt junior Cameron Glenn takes home the award following his five tackles and an interception in the Demon Deacons 46-10 win over Utah State.
Wake Forest gets ACC Defensive Back of the Week for 2nd straight week with junior safety Cameron Glenn. Had interception vs. Utah State.

Glenn actually scored a touchdown off of his interception on the first possession of the game, but it was called back after an illegal hit on Utah State quarterback Kent Myers. The Deacs would score on the next play after a 43 yard slant route to Greg Dortch resulted in 6 points
There was a case to be made that Glenn could have won the award last week after his dominant performance against Boston College so it is great to see that he continues to play at a high level and be rewarded for his play.
Glenn made the Pro Football Focus All-ACC team last week and has a great chance to show up there again.

On the season so far Glenn has anchored a very stout Wake Forest secondary, accusing 18 tackles and two interceptions.
Back-to-back weeks a Deac takes ACC DB of the Week. Remember when the secondary was supposed to be the question mark of this defense? https://t.co/70cRA35c5F

Congrats to Cam for his hard work and we are happy to see it paying off with the award this week!
