Wake Forest will welcome Utah State to Winston-Salem for the Aggies first ever game in the state of North Carolina. The two teams have met once before, a 36-24 Utah State victory in 2014 where Wake Forest was held to -25 yards rushing.
Unfortunately this is the third straight game where the Wake Forest football team will not be on television, culminating in a fourth straight weekend against App State next Saturday. If Wake can get to 4-0 then there may be some primetime television for the Florida State game in week 5, but let’s get there first.
Utah State is 1-1 with a loss at Wisconsin (59-10), and a win at home over Idaho State (51-13). Wake Forest is 2-0 with a home victory over Presbyterian (51-7), and a road win over Boston College (34-10).
