On the eve of Isaiah Mucius visiting the Wake Forest Demon Deacons for an official visit there were some rumblings of good news, as two 247Sports predictors cast their predictions for the Demon Deacons to land the talented wing.
There have been five predictions thus far, and 100% of them are now on Wake Forest.
Jerry Meyer, the Director of Basketball Scouting, and Chris Fisher, a recruiting insider for CatsPause, a Kentucky blog, both believe that Mucius will wind up in Old Gold and Black.
Andrew Slater of The Devils Den, a Duke blog, was the first expert to predict Mucius to Wake Forest when he did so back on April 5th, 2017.
Mucius is currently listed as the 68th best player in the class of 2018 247Sports composite, and a four-star.
The main competition for the 6-8, 190 pound wing is Xavier, as Mucius took an official visit there last weekend, but left without committing.
It is believed that he will make a commitment shortly after this weekend, which has to bode well for Wake Forest, as the last visit is usually a good advantage.
Randolph Childress is the lead guy on this recruitment and has been all over it from the beginning.
Mucius will play his final season at the famed Brewster Academy, which has advanced to nine National Final Fours in the past decade.
Should Wake Forest land Mucius it would propel the Deacs to 5th in the current 2018 recruiting class behind Michigan State and one spot ahead of Duke.
