On Monday (August 1st), the official scholarship offers went out to members of the 2018 football class.
What used to be a mere formality in college football recruiting has now advanced into yet another peacock contest, where schools continue to compete to show future recruits why they need to attend THIS school.
Several Wake Forest commits tweeted out their offers, allowing a look at what Wake is putting out there:

Something else that was interesting to see was that Kelijiha Brown mentioned he was coming in January to Wake:
Let's go baby it's official I will be in Winston Salem NC in January GoDeacs pic.twitter.com/MQqCzUjQTc

I also believe that Zion Keith and Caleb Smith will be coming to Winston-Salem in January instead of waiting until the fall to enroll. This provides a jumpstart for these guys and gets them in for spring practice, which is a pretty big advantage.
Overall I think the offers are very clean, sharp, personalized, and classy, basically what Wake Forest tries to portray itself as to future student-athletes.
At least there were no typos on the official offers like East Carolina had, where they misspelled “scholarship”, and “undaunted” on them. While the pirate scroll is certainly awesome, misspelling something like that is completely inexcusable.
What do you guys think of the offers?
