John Collins continues to impress people at every level of basketball he has played at, and the NBA Summer League is simply just another notch in his belt. Collins was named to the All-Summer League team yesterday by the NBA.

He is joined by an impressive list of folks: Lonzo Ball, Dennis Smith, Jr., Josh Jackson, and Caleb Swanigan.
The former Wake Forest big man averaged 15.4 PPG, 9.2 RPG, and second in Player Efficiency Rating (32.5) in the NBA Summer League. The league is comprised primarily of rookies, but also a handful of vets who are looking to catch on and make a team in one fashion or another.
Collins continued to be incredibly efficient as well, leading all players in field goal percentage (59.3%) with at least 50 FGA.
His mind numbing dunks have also caught the attention of Sportscenter, as well the Twittersphere, and Hawks Reddit, who has coined him “John the Baptist” (I can’t believe we didn’t come up with this quite frankly given Wake’s former Baptist affiliation).
Let's just keep watching @jcollins20_ dunks. pic.twitter.com/IFLIrIm8cy

Congratulations to John on what we hope will be the first of numerous NBA awards!
