Wake Forest head basketball coach Danny Manning has had quite the week. He spent the first part of it out in Colorado as the assistant coach for the U-19 United States basketball team. This gave him the chance to work with Kentucky head coach John Calipari, as well as coaching access to some of the best young basketball players in the world.
Now he is headed to Brooklyn, New York, where he will sit at the table of former Wake Forest All-American John Collins. Collins is projected to go in the first round of the NBA Draft tonight, and is a toss-up to go in the lottery. The Draft starts at 7:00 PM EST
John Collins will have Wake Forest coach Danny Manning sitting with him at his table tomorrow night.

Manning was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1988 NBA Draft to the Los Angeles Clippers.les Clippers.
This will allow Manning even more time in front of potential recruits, parents, analysts, and NBA scouts/GM’s to further his reputation as a coach who gets guys to the NBA. It should be fun to see Manning and Collins together again, as they clearly work well together as far as basketball success goes!
