Check out the latest offers from the Deacs

It’s that time of the week again to take a look at the players that Clawson and the coaching staff have extended scholarship offers to play for our Deacs. The number of offers has declined since last week, which could be due to the holiday weekend or just the fact that we are getting closer and closer to the start of football season. The latest offers seem to be mostly offensive skill positions that are not rated by any of the top recruiting sites. Here’s a quick rundown of the offers.

Note: 3-star linebacker Yasir Abdullah was offered by Wake Forest this week, but committed to Louisville on May 28th and was therefore removed from this article.

Jarett Garner is a 6-3, 186lb wide receiver out of Hickory Ridge High School in Harrisburg, North Carolina. He is a member of the 2018 recruiting class but has not been rated. He currently has offers from Old Dominion, Elon, App State, The Citadel, ECU, Charlotte, and Louisville. At 6-3, his height would definitely make him a nice addition to the Wake Forest receiving corps.

Keilan Robinson is a 5-9, 175lb running back out of St. John’s College High School in Washington DC. He is a member of the 2019 recruiting class and is not yet rated. He has competing offers from Rutgers, UNC, Michigan State, and Maryland.

Caleb Steward is a 5-11, 203lb running back out of Ed White High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He is an unrated member of the 2018 recruiting class. He has over 15 competing offers, notably Boston College, UCF, Temple, Duke, Purdue, USF, Virginia Tech, FAU, and UAB. Steward’s Hudl page accredits him as running a 4.42 40-yard dash, which would be some nice speed to add to the roster.

Taquan Roberson is a 6-1, 180lb dual threat QB out of De Paul Catholic High School in Wayne, New Jersey. He is a member of the 2019 class and is currently not rated. He has competing offers from Kentucky, Maryland, UNC, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech. Roberson is the 4th quarterback to be offered a scholarship by the Deacs recently, which is probably due to the dismissal of Kyle Kearns freeing up a scholarship for the QB position.

Isaiah Isaac is a 5-10, 175lb wide receiver out of Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. He is a member of the 2018 class and has not been rated yet. He has competing offers from Marshall, The Citadel, Temple, Toledo, and Army.

UPDATE: Isaac has now officially committed to play for the Deacs.
