The No. 12 Wake Forest Demon Deacons placed 9 players on the All-ACC teams this year. The nine honorees are a Wake Forest program record, breaking the prior record of seven picks back in 2001. The Deacs boast the most players of any ACC team to receive All-ACC honors

1B Gavin Sheets, OF Stuart Fairchild, and C Ben Breazeale all made the All-ACC First Team.

2B Jake Mueller, 3B Johnny Aiello, SP Parker Dunshee, SP Connor Johnstone, and RP Griffin Roberts all made the Second Team.

OF Jonathan Pryor was the sole Wake Forest selection for the ACC Third-Team.

Sheets leads in the ACC in home runs (19), and RBIs (77), while also batting .321 on the year.

Fairchild was named All-ACC for the third straight year, leading the Deacs with 16 SBs to go with a .350 batting average, 16 doubles, 13 home runs, and 57 RBIs.

Breazeale hit .350 on the year, starting 51/52 games this year at catcher and DG. He hit 7 home runs and totaled 55 RBIs.

Wake Forest landed the 3 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament that begins tomorrow. It will face off against Georgia Tech on Wednesday at 7 PM, and then play Miami on Thursday at 3 PM. One of those games will be meaningless for the ACC Tournament, while the other will decide the champion of the pod depending on how the Georgia Tech-Miami game goes tomorrow.
