Josh Green is a 6-4, 180 pound shooting guard in the class of 2019 out of Hillcrest Hoops Prep School in Phoenix, Arizona.
247sports lists him as a 4-star recruit, ranked 40th in the national composite rankings, the number 7 shooting guard in the nation, and the number 1 shooting guard in the state of Arizona.
Green also holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Oklahoma, Stanford, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UNLV, Southern Cal, Washington, Washington State, Georgetown, and Kansas.
Below is a highlight tape of Green and a couple of his Hillcrest teammates, including DeAndre Ayton, the number one recruit in the class of 2017 who committed to Arizona:
Based on the fact that he is from Arizona and has some blue-blood programs going after him, I think Wake’s chances at landing Green are a long shot. But Danny Manning has shown he is capable of going against blue-bloods and maybe this time he will come out on top. Here’s hoping!
