Wake Forest has offered David Duke, a 6-3 combo guard in the class of 2018 out of Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts.
Duke holds offers already from Kansas, UConn, Providence, Creighton, Florida, Massachusetts, DePaul, Northwestern, Rhode Island, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth, Boston College, and a few smaller schools.
247sports ranks him as the 76th best player in the nation in their composite rankings. He is listed as the number 4 combo guard overall, and is ranked second in the state of Massachusetts. His stock has shot up since the start of AAU Tournaments a couple of weeks ago.
Below is a link to a feature done on Duke:
This one is going to be a tough recruiting battle for the staff, but if anybody can get Duke to commit to Wake Forest over the likes of Kansas and Virginia it would be Danny Manning.
Wake could always use more athletic shooters, and Duke certainly fits that bill.
