God is Good!! Glad to Receive and Offer from Wake Forest pic.twitter.com/zWkoXog7to— Devin Ellison (@__devn7__) May 2, 2017
Devin Ellison is a 5-8, 190 pound running back in the class of 2019 out of Bartram Trail High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ellison also has offers so far from Florida Atlantic, Kentucky, Rutgers, and fellow ACC school Syracuse.
247sports has him ranked as a four star, though his profile hasn’t been updated to reflect his most recent offers.
Below are some of his highlights from his sophomore year:
I haven’t seen many reviews of him so far, but he is from Jacksonville, Florida, which was a recruiting hotbed under Coach Jim Grobe, and the hometown of one of Wake Forest’s greatest quarterback in school history, Riley Skinner.
Former Wake Forest players wide receiver Jared Crump, tight end Andrew Parker, and offensive lineman Jeff Griffin all attended Bartram Trail before coming to Wake Forest and making an impact during their respective careers.
Wake has plenty of depth at the running back position right now, but it’s great to have more players at this position for 2019 when Ellison would come in.
