Wake Forest has offered Georgia athlete/WR Zion Puckett a scholarship today. Puckett is in the Class of 2019 and is likely to be a highly rated recruit.

Puckett stands 6-1, 190, and fits the mold of the receiver that Wake Forest has been going after lately from a size standpoint.
He has not been rated yet by 247Sports, but already holds offers from Tennessee and Florida State.
According to 247Sports, Florida State assistant coach Odell Haggins swung by Spalding High School in Griffin, GA on Thursday afternoon to extend the offer.
Wake Forest followed suit today and got in early on the talented young player.
Puckett is the 6th WR that the Demon Deacon coaching staff has offered for the Class of 2019, and the second athlete.
Given the early offers of FSU and Tennessee, I would expect this one to be an uphill climb for Wake, but getting in early on a guy like Puckett is a good sign moving forward.
