Adam: Wake Forest wins 88-74
The Deacs have beaten the Eagles twice already this season, and I really just don't see anyway Boston College is going to stop John Collins without double or triple teaming him. The only thing that could make this game close is if Wake has an absolutely horrible day shooting the ball from beyond the arc.
Chris: Wake Forest wins 88-80
I'm taking MY DEACS 88-80. This is not a game Wake fans should overlook, even after three straight wins, but it is a game Wake should win. John Collins has entered cheat codes late in the season and just scores at will in the post. Bryant Crawford is also playing like a man possessed late in this season, and the team has a fight unlike one I've seen in nearly a decade. Wake outlasts BC in a shooting contest this go-round.
Grumpy: Wake Forest wins 83-78
Unlike the past three games, the Deacs don't fall behind big in the first half. In fact, they cruise to a commanding lead by halftime. Unfortunately, BC whittles away at it in the second half and reminds Wake fans that nothing in life comes easy. Clutch free throws fall for the Deacs and Wake escapes with a win.
Riley: Wake Forest wins 90-75
Collins got 26 and 16 last game, and I don't think BC is going to magically figure out a way to stop him. This is a game that Wake Forest has to win to make sure they are in good shape for the NCAA Tournament, and I don't see them dropping it. I'll take Wake 90-75 in a game that they pull away in the second half.
Rob: Wake Forest wins 82-68
The Deacs and the Eagles have already played twice this season, with the Deacs coming out ahead both times, however, Boston College was competitive in both games. That said, Boston College has lost 14 games in a row, while Wake is presumably just one win away from all but securing a NCAA Tournament berth. Look for Wake to pound it inside to John Collins a.k.a. wrongfully denied ACC Player of the Year, and make enough triples to earn the victory.
Samurai: Wake Forest wins 85-73
Yeah I know, hard to beat teams three times in a year, but we're streaking with stuff to play for, BC has imploded...yeah I see this being fairly comfortable. I'm a little scared for BC's bigs because I think John will be playing angry.
What do you all think will happen this afternoon?
