Our power rankings headed into the final games of the regular season.

NCAA Basketball: North Carolina at Duke Mark Dolejs-USA TODAY Sports

It’s hard to believe it, but the ACC will conclude its regular season today. Before the action tips off at noon, be sure to check out our staff’s consensus power rankings, as we share our thoughts on the conference.

Consensus ACC Power Rankings

  1. North Carolina
  2. Louisville
  3. Duke
  4. Florida State
  5. Notre Dame
  6. Virginia
  7. Miami
  8. Virginia Tech
  9. Wake Forest
  10. Syracuse
  11. Georgia Tech
  12. Clemson
  13. Pittsburgh
  14. NC State
  15. Boston College

Despite Louisville’s loss to Wake Forest, the staff was still high on the Cardinals due to overall body of work. Duke moves up to third following a nice win over Florida State, but the Noles are still a very solid 4th place.

The middle of our power rankings includes Notre Dame, Virginia, Miami, and Virginia Tech. If you gave certain members of our staff the opportunity to revote, they might consider moving V Tech above Miami. Still, Miami lost by only 5 on the road, so there’s very legitimate reason for placing the Canes above the Hokies.

Wake Forest’s big win over Louisville lifted the Deacs past Syracuse, with Georgia Tech coming in 11th. The usual suspects of Clemson, Pittsburgh, NC State, and Boston College round out the bottom third of the conference. Boston College is 15th again, as they have been many times this season. #therivalry

The ACC regular season closes out today. While the “power rankings” will still sort themselves out during the ACC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament, the ACC regular season standings will be finalized by midnight. What do you all think of the power rankings?
