Michael Allen, a 4-star defensive lineman out of Georgia, has signed with Wake Forest. The Deacs beat out Southern California and Tennesssee to secure the highly-touted high school senior. Wake began picking up a late run of Crystal Ball predictions from 24/7 Sports over the in late July of last year, and there was considerable momentum for Allen to commit to Clawson and the Demon Deacon football team. This momentum, and corresponding speculation of where Allen would land, became reality for Wake Forest on August 8th.

Allen is one of the highest rated players to ever sign with Wake Forest according to 247Sports, as he ranks 446th nationally. He had 29 offers and the Deacs were able to hold off every single one of them to secure Allen for the next 4+ years.

At 6-6, 240, he is extremely athletic and has a frame that can hold a lot of strength. That will be extremely useful for terrorizing opposing offensive lines in the ACC.
Welcome to Wake Forest Michael!
