The fax machine is rolling again as the Wake Forest football staff has received the LOI for North Carolinian wide receiver Jaquarii Roberson. Roberson is a three-star prospect and starred at Hertford County HS in Ahoskie, NC where he amassed over 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns in his career, including 15 scores in his senior campaign.
Scout ranks Roberson as the #5 wide receiver in the state. Standing at 6’3” and weighing in at 170 lbs, a college weight program will give him the opportunity to go over smaller CBs and move the chains or finish red zone possessions for the Deacs. He chose Wake Forest back in August over East Carolina and NC State and has not wavered since his commitment.
247 Sports’ Composite Rankings have Roberson as the 182nd best wide receiver in the class. It’s always great to beat out other state schools for in-state talent, and that’s exactly what Wake did here.
Join us in welcoming Jaquarii to the Deacon Family!
