Sage Surratt has officially signed with the Demon Deacons. To say that this 6’4”, 205 pound WR out of Lincolnton High School in North Carolina has put up video game numbers in his career would be an understatement. For his career, Surratt hauled in 5,926 yards, and 80 touchdowns, all of which are state records. His numbers and skills were so impressive that he was named North Carolina Offensive Player of the Year. What will he bring to Wake Forest?
Dreams of receiving an education & playing Power 5 for @WakeFB are coming true. #12 & #14 are always brothers. #GoDeacs pic.twitter.com/bbMyZNoOO5

Surratt is a 3-star prospect who chose Wake Forest over Duke and North Carolina. In addition to being a star on the gridiron, he’s an incredibly talented basketball player. He is currently averaged 37 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game who just so happens to be the third leading scorer in the nation. Surratt also boats a 5.02 GPA with a strong emphasis on Advanced Placement courses. Not only will he be able to go and get jump balls, but he’s also capable of catching screen passes and making defenders miss. I’m very excited about his upside.
Welcome to Winston-Salem, Sage!!
