Wake Forest Football Recruiting: 2017 National Signing Day Central

All of the latest information regarding Wake Forest football recruiting.

Break out the fax machines, National Signing Day 2017 is here. Many of Wake Forest’s class has been verbally committed for at least six months, but today the recruits put pen to paper. National Signing Day, the first Wednesday in February, is the first day that prospects can officially send in national letters of intent. Until schools receive the letters, then the commitments are just verbal and nothing is binding.

The strength of this class is in the defense, specifically linebacker, while the 2016 class had more offensive firepower and defensive linemen. Again, all of that is contingent upon players actually signing, though I believe that Wake has done a good job of securing and firming up verbal commitments.
