Wake Forest Belk Bowl Depth Chart vs. Texas A&M Released Today

An initial depth chart was released today for the Deacs Belk Bowl game against the Aggies next Friday.

In the midst of all the Early National Signing Day madness that went on today, Les Johns over at Demon Deacon Digest astutely pointed out and tweeted that the Wake Forest depth chart was released for the Belk Bowl today when it will take on Texas A&M on December 29th.

Two tweets that show the Offense and then the Defense/Special Teams Depth Chart are below:

On offense there is nothing surprising at all other than perhaps Matt Colburn retaining the No. 1 spot at the running back position. Also, in the day and age of draft picks sometimes opting out of games it is good to see Cam Serigne as the starter at the tight end position.

On defense I will say the same thing about Duke Ejiofor that I said for Serigne above—-it appears he will play his final game in Old Gold and Black in the Belk Bowl at the end of the month.

The only slight change I noticed here off the bat is that R-Fr Malik Grate has taken over as the backup cornerback to Essang Bassey. Grate was listed as the backup to Bassey for the season finale against Duke, so perhaps he has just moved up to that position.

Also as Whit points out:

As we get closer to the Belk Bowl we will have some more articles out on Texas A&M, as well as the bowl prep for the Deacs. For now let’s enjoy the guys for 2018 and welcome them to Wake Forest!
