Atorian Perry, a 6-5 wide receiver from Lake Worth, Florida, has signed with the Deacs. Perry is a 2 star recruit who had initially committed to UAB before changing his mind and signing with the Deacs.
After thinking and discussing with my family, I have decided to decommit from UAB and take my education and football career to the University of Wake Forest. Go Deacs! *Please respect my decision* pic.twitter.com/IX97m1AMXj

Perry caught 30 passes for 575 yards and 7 TDs during his senior campaign at Park Vista High School. With his height, the Deacs get another player like Scotty Washington that should have several inches on any DBs they face. This is particularly useful in 1 on 1 matchups, especially around the goal line. Having multiple 6-5 guys who can win a jump ball will put a lot of pressure on opposing defenses and should make it much easier to move the ball down the field. You have to commend Clawson and the rest of the staff for flipping and securing a guy with plenty of size in Perry with an early December signing. Checkout Perry’s stats below and Go Deacs:
