I’m making this a thing solely so folks who are at the game can comment and perhaps provide some insight while the game is occurring. I’ll post a stats recap once the game is over, but the ever admirable Robert Reinhard will be bringing the heat with some observations tomorrow, while Edward Foster will be providing a Facebook Live.
In the meanwhile we can just hope and pray that somebody (or bodies) at the game will take pity upon those not fortunate enough to live in Winston-Salem and give us some updates since there is no live video or audio feed.
If I happen to stumble upon one then I will throw it in here, but the pickings seem nonexistent at this point.
Here’s a link to the preview we wrote earlier this week detailing how Queens could be a tougher test for Wake Forest than some might think (they made the Sweet 16 in D-II last year and are ranked pre-season No. 2 in the polls nationally).
Duke and Cincinnati played the No. 1 and No. 3 teams in Division II earlier this week and defeated them handily (33 points and 28 points respectively), so this gears me a little more towards wanting to see a double-digit victory than I originally thought.
Go Deacs and let’s play some shooty hoops!!!
