The Wake Forest-Syracuse game scheduled for November 11th in Syracuse, New York has received a 6-day hold from the ACC headquarters. This means the game time and network will be announced on Sunday following the results of the games on Saturday.

Syracuse (4-4) and Wake Forest (5-3) have been pleasant surprises this year and both are likely eyeing this game as a chance to become bowl eligible.

In addition to holding bowl eligibility implications, both teams run very up-tempo offenses that should be intriguing to the neutral observer as far as a high scoring game.

The Orange play at Florida State this week in an attempt to get within one game of bowl eligibility, while Wake Forest heads to South Bend to play nationally ranked Notre Dame at 3:30 on NBC.

Should either or both teams win on Saturday it could present a late game to pull in more viewers.
