Greg Dortch was not the only Wake Forest player to take in awards this week, as senior quarterback John Wolford also took home the ACC Offensive Back of the Week award following his best day ever in a Wake Forest uniform.

Wolford had a perfect passer rating for Wake Forest and also added an additional touchdown on the ground to be responsible for all 6 Demon Deacons touchdowns en route to a big 42-32 win over Louisville.

Not only did Wolford win the ACC Offensive Back of the Week award, but he also received the CFPA National Performer of the Week award as well.

The senior QB now has thrown 15 touchdowns compared to 2 interceptions for 1,660 yards on the season. He is 119-181 on the season (66%), and has taken just 8 sacks, which is a 4.2% sack rate.

In addition to his passing, he also leads the team in rushing with 403 yards on 66 carries and 6 touchdowns on 6.1 yards per carry.

Congratulations to John on a career day and his hard work and toughness paying off throughout his years in Winston-Salem!
