Wake Forest vs. Boston College: BSD Staff Predictions

Is the staff confident about tonight’s game?

NCAA Basketball: Boston College at Wake Forest Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Adam: Wake Forest wins 82-71

The Deacs are probably really mad right now and looking to blow off steam. BC just doesn't have the personnel to stop Collins Dinos and even Moore down low, so the Deacs should be able to get whatever they want in the post.

Cam: Wake Forest wins 86-69

BC and Collins have had a bad taste in their mouths after the unspeakable happened on Saturday. They get a reeling Boston College team that just doesn't have an identity and this is just the game Wake needs to get back on their feet and back on the road to March Madness.

Chris: Boston College wins 86-85

Wake loses to BC in The Rivalry, 86-85. I am irrationally low on the current team, and I think road games are still tough for this team. Wake should walk away with an easy win, but seeing body language from the team at the end of the game and after, I just think some of the spark is gone from the season. Hope I'm wrong.

Grumpy: Boston College wins 79-77

I hope the team is more resilient than I am, because I'm still crushed from Saturday.

Ned: Wake Forest wins 84-68

An angered and motivated Deacon team rolls up to Chestnut Hill and doesn't mess around in a must-win game to save the season. Fortunately there's no close lead to blow here in the final minutes, and Wake cruises to its 4th ACC win of the season.

Riley: Wake Forest wins 81-71

I'm taking Wake to win by 10 tonight. BC has nobody on their entire team that can stop John Collins. It will be a defensive challenge for Bryant and Keyshawn (as well as Chill/Mitch) to guard Bowman and Robinson, but I don't think that will be enough from Wake getting a much needed win.

Rob: Wake Forest wins 80-72

The Deacs clearly had a rough ending against Duke, but they are far more talented than BC and I firmly believe that Dinos Mitoglou and John Collins will be able to dominate on the interior. In addition to that, Wilbekin and Arians each knock down a pair of triples.
