Wake Forest vs. Duke: BSD Staff Predictions

Adam: Duke wins 86-74

The Blue Devils are without K, but I still think Duke has too much fire power on offense for Wake to pull this one out. Amile Jefferson will make things tough for Collins inside while Kennard and Tatum torch the Deacs on the other end.

Chris: Duke wins 92-91

I got Duke in a heartbreaker, 92-91. Wake gives Duke a great game, but the guardplay from the visitors is too much for the Deacs to handle. I expect a big game from Collins and will also call a good game for Childress.

Grumpy: Duke wins 90-83

Duke's shooters are going to finally get in a groove and Wake will struggle to contest outside shots. An exciting battle inside, but the Deacs fall short. Man I more than ever hope I'm wrong.

Ned: Wake Forest wins 86-80

This Blue Devils team is still trying to find its identity and a packed crowd in the Joel should help unnerve them even more than they already are. Wake rides JC and Woods to a win and remain in the bubble discussion.

Rob: Duke wins 80-75

This is a classic example of head vs. heart. As badly as I want to see the Demon Deacons earn a Top 25 win that would do wonders for the tournament resume, I worry that this Duke team is just too talented. NC State’s victory in Cameron is encouraging, but I do fear that Wake will struggle with the Dinos vs. Tatum matchup. I hope like hell that I’m wrong and that the quad gets rolled this evening.

Samurai: Wake Forest wins 79-71

We lost so I'm predicting. I honestly think that in the Joel and no Coach K we've got this. John Collins continues to dominate, Bryant Crawford finds his swagger, and I'm calling at least one Grayson Allen technical foul.
