The Wake Forest football program just earned its second commitment in as many days. Sage Surratt, a wide receiver out of Lincolnton High School in North Carolina, verbally committed to Wake Forest just days after his official visit. Surratt put up numbers that you couldn’t achieve if you played a video game on rookie and entered cheat codes. Lean more about him below.

Surratt had a monster season at Lincolnton. He caught 129 balls for 2,104 yards, and 28 touchdowns. As a result, he was named North Carolina Offensive Player of the Year. Those numbers are damn impressive, but his career numbers are even more staggering. For his career, Surratt hauled in 5,926 yards, and 80 touchdowns, all of which are state records. He’s listed at 6’4”, 205 pounds, and can most definitely be a major asset in the red zone.
Surratt is a 3-star prospect who chose Wake Forest over Duke and North Carolina. In addition to being a star on the gridiron, he’s an incredibly talented basketball player. He is currently averaged 37 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game (LOL). He’s the third leading scorer in the entire country. Clawson always likes recruiting players who are multi-sport athletes, and Surratt is the poster child of a multi-sport athlete. Oh by the way, he also sports a very impressive 5.02 GPA with a strong emphasis on Advanced Placement courses.
National Signing Day is just over two weeks away. Please stay tuned to Blogger So Dear for the latest news on Wake Forest football recruiting.
