Basketball recruiting season is in full swing, and some experts believe that Wake Forest is in great shape with an elite target. Wake Forest received four more Cyrstal Ball predictions for 4-star Chaundee Brown today. To me, it’s not so much the quantity, as it is the quality. Two of those predictions come from Kansas insiders, and Kansas is the top competition for Brown. One of them, Matt Scott, is one of the most accurate prognosticators on 247.
Hardest decision of my life

Again, nothing is definitive, but this is another excellent sign for the Demon Deacons. Brown is scheduled to take his official visit to Wake Forest on September 30th, and I believe Wake will pull out all of the stops for that weekend. I hope that Danny Manning and his staff are also able to get 4-star Brandon Randolph to visit that weekend, and maybe bring back a few notable alums.
The Brown commitment would mean so much to this program. Brown is an excellent offensive player, who can shoot, and also has the strength to attack the basket. He would be an excellent fit in Manning’s three-guard system.
