Wake Forest Basketball Recruiting: Chaundee Brown Lists Wake Forest In Final 4

NCAA Basketball: NC-Greensboro at Wake Forest Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

The Wake Forest basketball staff has been recruiting Chaundee Brown hard for a long time, and Wake is now among his final four schools. Wake Forest made the cut along with Kansas, Florida, and Maryland. Wake Forest initially offered the 2017 prospect back in December, and has watched him play many times on both the high school and AAU circuits.

Chaundee Brown is a 4-star prospect out of Orlando, Florida, and Scout.com ranks him as the 55th best player in the class. Given his recent performances, it’s entirely possible that he rises in the rankings. He has a college-ready body, and is an excellent scorer. He can shoot from the outside, and can also get to the rim at will. In addition to his scoring, he has a good feel for the game and can pass well.

Danny Manning and his staff have been recruiting Brown very hard for some time, and I would say that Brown is Wake’s top target in the 2017 recruiting class. The next step in the recruiting process will be setting up official visits. Blogger So Dear will keep you updated as those dates come out.
