Wake Forest’s football season will kick off in less than two months, which means that it’s time to continue ramping up our football coverage at Blogger So Dear. The other evening I was able to chat about the Wake Forest linebacker situation with Mark Rogers of Mark Rogers TV.
The linebacker unit was Wake’s best in 2015, but the Deacs will be without Brandon Chubb and Hunter Williams. Chubb was 1st team All-ACC in 2015, while Williams was honorable mention All-ACC. That’s a loss of nearly 170 tackles from a year ago. Will the return of Marquel Lee and his 70 tackles be enough? Who else will fill roles and what are the overall strengths of this year’s unit? I do my best to answer those questions in the interview.
As always, many thanks to Mark for taking the time to discuss Wake Forest football. You can follow him on Twitter @MarkRogersTV, and also subscribe to his YouTube channel. He does an excellent job of covering all things college football.
