Guess what!?
"Im cleared for football!
Cortez hauled in 47 receptions last season, which led the Demon Deacons. He had 611 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. He made many spectacular plays, and I’d encourage you to check out his highlight video to remember them.
Lewis is entering just his redshirt sophomore season, so expect him to take another step forward this season. He was excellent as a redshirt freshman, and he should only get better with an improved offensive line and more seasoned quarterback play. On a team full of talented wide receivers, it’s my opinion that Lewis is clearly the best.
I never felt as though Cortez was in danger of missing games this season, but it’s very encouraging to see that he is already cleared for football activities, which gives him plenty of time to participate in offseason workouts prior to fall camp starting.
