The Wake Forest football program has recruited very well lately, and the program is in excellent shape with one of its top targets. Trey Creamer, a 3-star cornerback out of Georgia, spoke to Scout.com and he had some excellent things to say about the Demon Deacons. Full link to article here.
Trey Creamer is a 6'0", 170 pounds cornerback out of Cartersville High School in Cartersville, Georgia. He is a consensus 3-star recruit, and was originally offered by Wake Forest in January. Since that time he's added a number of offers from Power 5 schools such as Minnesota, Maryland, and Kansas State. His offer list is impressive, and he is the 650th best prospect in the country according to Rank by Offers.
A commitment from Creamer would be the second cornerback commitment in the 2017 class, with the other being Troy Simon, who chose Wake Forest over Notre Dame. From the video, it sounds as though the coaching staff has done a fantastic job of establishing a relationship with Trey. They make him feel welcome when he is on campus, and do an excellent job of staying in contact, and making sure that things are going well in his life. Hopefully that effort results in landing the young man.
