The 2017 Wake Forest football recruiting class got larger on Monday evening with the addition of Loic Nya, an offensive lineman out of Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Though he attends high school in Maryland, Nya is originally from Cameroon and began playing football just 2 years ago.

Loic Nya also holds offers from Coastal Carolina, Fordham, and Monmouth. He stands at 6'3", 265-pounds, and clearly has the frame to add more weight. Loic is what you would call a "project." He has only been playing football for a few years, and he's still learning all of the rules. He's definitely a candidate to redshirt and use that year to learn more technique and add more weight. His senior tape will definitely be one to watch, as he has already added 25 pounds since last football season. Wake Forest now has two offensive linemen in the 2017 recruiting class.
