Well, on Tuesday night against Clemson the Deacs looked like they were ready to snap their losing streak, but then the second half happened. I'm hopeful that Wake can be competitive in this one, because it's one the Deacs are more than capable of winning, but I have to wonder if that Virginia collapse ruined this season.

Florida State features a very dynamic backcourt that can be deadly in transition. Given Wake's inclination to allow opposing guards to penetrate, that could pose some difficult matchup problems for the Deacs. Those active guards can also get in the passing lanes and force turnovers, which is another thing that could be very problematic for the Deacs.

Either way, I'll be watching. I hope you all join me.
