National Singing Day 2016: Tyler Watson signs with Wake Forest

Tyler Watson is a 3 star OT from Alpharetta, Georgia who is listed at 6'5" 275 pounds. This is a great pick up by coach Clawson and the rest of the Wake Forest coaching staff who are obviously looking to improve upon the offensive line. Watson chose to sign with Wake Forest over several offers from other teams including Air Force, Army, Duke, Maryland, Navy, ECU , and Indiana. At 275, he will be one of the lighter offensive lineman for the Deacs, so I wouldn't be surprised if the coaching staff redshirts him to give him a year to really bulk up for ACC level competition. Based off his Senior season highlights, he is very quick off the ball and doesn't stop driving his opponent backwards until the play is dead or they are on the ground. While he may not make that big of an impact next season, Watson is a great pickup for the Demon Deacons.
