National Signing Day 2016: LB LaRonde Liverpool Signs With Wake Forest

Outside linebacker LaRonde Liverpool has signed with Wake Forest on National Signing Day

LaRonde Liverpool, a 3-star linebacker out of Virginia Beach, Virginia, has officially become a Demon Deacon today. He is ranked as the 69th best outside linebacker in the 2016 class, and the 31st best player in the state of Virginia. He is also the 2nd best outside linebacker in the state of Virginia as well.

Liverpool chose Wake Forest over offers from: East Carolina, Indiana, N.C. State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. He originally committed to the Deacs on June 2nd, 2015, and since then has been one of the most vocal promoters of the school via social media. His constant cheering and encouragement has been noticed on Twitter and helpful for the recruiting process overall.

At 6'3, 225 pounds, Liverpool has the size to come in and be an impact player from day one. He will get a chance to compete early on with Zack Wary and Jaboree Williams for playing time out of the gate.

At times in high school he showed the ability to play with his hand on the ground and also standing up. I look forward to seeing what he brings to the table as a Demon Deacon.

Welcome to Wake LaRonde. We are glad to have you and can't wait to see you on the field!
