Clemson is favored at Wake Forest in basketball. I hate that that statement is true, but it's where we are. January was absolutely brutal to Wake Forest. They went just 1-8, but it's a new month now. Wake Forest has a number of very winnable games in February, and the first opportunity starts tonight against Clemson. The Deacs did not play well at Notre Dame, and will need a team effort to beat Clemson.

If Wake Forest can get all-around contributions, then the Deacs should be okay. Clemson plays at a slower pace, so that should help Wake Forest's defense, who struggles against teams with up-tempo and more pick-and-roll principles.

Danny has to get the team back on track, and I expect him to do so tonight. As always, go Deacs!
