The Wake Forest football program earned several victories on Tuesday. In addition to defeating #24 Temple 34-26 in the Military Bowl, two of Wake Forest’s best players are returning for their senior seasons. Les Johns, publisher of Demon Deacon Digest, reported on Tuesday evening that both Cam Serigne and Duke Ejiofor will be returning for their senior campaigns.
BREAKING - Both Cam Serigne and Duke Ejiofor say they are returning to Wake Forest to play their senior seasons.

Duke Ejiofor will be a sought after draft prospect in the 2018 NFL Draft, but fortunately he’ll be a star on Wake Forest’s defensive line in 2017. Ejiofor finished the regular season with 44 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. This doesn’t include the countless times that he impacted the opposing quarterback or rushing attack without accumulating a statistic. In today’s contest he had 7 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss and an interception. This is simply outstanding news.
Cam Serigne had a huge game in Wake Forest’s victory over #24 Temple, as he hauled in 3 receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown. Prior to the bowl game he had just 27 receptions for 358 yards and 2 touchdowns, but he had 100 total receptions during his first two seasons for the Deacs. Serigne had a diminished role in the passing attack this season, but Wake ran the ball more this season, and Serigne also improved his blocking.
