Wake Forest vs. Temple Predictions

Adam: Temple wins 31-17

The Owls have a veteran team playing in their final game as college athletes, so they will likely be super pumped to go out and lay everything they have on the field. The Deacs are probably just as excited to finally be back in a bowl, but they just don't have the firepower to keep up with Temple.

Elijah: Temple wins 31-20

While both teams are probably excited just to get to a football game with the bowl prep weeks being compromised by a coaching change and information leak, Temple comes in with a stronger, veteran team. While the Deacs will put up a good fight, the senior heavy team of Temple will find a way to will themselves to a bowl game victory.

Grumpy: Wake Forest wins 17-14

Ned: Temple wins 24-17

Wake's D puts forth another solid effort in 2016, but the O's inability to move the football plagues the Deacs once again on Tuesday. Temple's offense that has eclipsed 30 points 8 times this season gets the Owls out to an early lead and Wake runs out of time before they can complete the comeback. Fortunately, this is far from the last bowl game of the Clawson era at Wake Forest.

Rob: Wake Forest wins 20-17

I don’t care what the advanced metrics say, I’m rolling with the Deacs. The team finds a way to rally around #WakeyLeaks and puts together an inspired performance to beat a good Temple team. Do the damn thing.

Samurai: Temple wins 21-17

It'll be a fight, and the Deacs will have some great moments, but Temple will have too much experience and cohesion to drop this one.
