The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will conclude the non-conference portion of its schedule tonight when they host the LSU Tigers, who they beat 77-71 last season in Baton Rouge. Wake enters the contest as a reasonable favorite and will hopefully finish the non-conference schedule with a 9-3 record, which would match last year's non-conference record.

Wake should have a decided advantage from beyond the arc, so I expect them to knock down a few outside shots early on and build a somewhat comfortable lead that last the majority of the game. John Collins made just 6 field goals against Xavier, but it's encouraging that Wake was able to get him 19 field goal attempts. He should've gotten to the line a few times, but that's a different discussion. I appreciate the discipline to get him the ball in the paint, because I don't think Wake has had that discipline over the past few seasons.

Let's close out the non-conference schedule in style. As always, go Deacs!
