The Deacs were humbled last week when they lost 21-13 to the Army Black Knights on Homecoming. I’m hopeful that the loss at least inspired the team to focus more in practice this week and come out with outstanding energy against Virginia. The weather should be excellent on Saturday, so I’m hopeful that the fans will still come out to support the Deacs.

Saturday’s loss was bad, but the Deacs still have two outstanding opportunities remaining to clinch bowl eligibility. If Wake can get back to a more run-based game plan, then I like Wake’s chances in this contest.

Here’s to hoping that the Deacs are bowl eligible by the end of the day. As always, go Deacs!
