Our beloved Wake Forest Demon Deacons will travel to Illinois to take on the Northwestern Wildcats tonight at 9 p.m. as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. It will be an excellent test for the Deacs, as Northwestern is currently ranked 50th in Ken Pom. They are an excellent 3-point shooting team and also play very sound defense. They play at a very slow pace, so if Wake Forest can force tempo that could be advantageous for the Demon Deacons. This is a game being played between two potential bubble teams, so a win would do a great deal for Wake's resume.
I'm pumped for the game, and I hope that you'll join me in the comments section throughout the game. As always, go Deacs!
