The Demon Deacons face an extraordinary task this evening when they host the #4 Clemson Tigers. Wake Forest performed quite admirably for three quarters against Louisville last week, but were ultimately blown out in the 4th quarter. Clemson enters this contest after losing at home to Pittsburgh on a last-second field goal, and have to win tonight's game in order to win the ACC Atlantic.

Wake is beat up after last weekend, and that doesn't bode well for having to take on a team as physical as Clemson. I anticipate that Wake will look to establish the run, but Clemson's defensive line, and front seven, is exceptional, so that should prove to be extremely difficult. Wake is going to do what it can to hang in the game for as long as possible, but is probably also going to be cognizant of the fact that next week's home game against Boston College is far more winnable.

If you aren't headed to the game this evening, then I hope you'll join our game thread in the comments section below. As always, go Deacs!
