Wake Forest vs. Syracuse Game Thread

Wake Forest returns home after a two game hiatus to take on the Syracuse Orange. The Deacs will be facing a team who is just 2-3, but is also a legitimate threat to put a lot of points on the scoreboard. Ideally the weather will have a strong and negative impact on the Syracuse air raid offense, and allow the Wake defense to get a few easy interceptions.

Cade Carney will hopefully return for the Deacs, and that will be important, as Syracuse has a poor rush defense that Wake should be able to exploit. I believe that Wake will have an advantage in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and that will hopefully be enough to overcome Syracuse's excellent passing attack. With this weather, anything can happen, but I think the bad weather definitely favors Wake's strengths of rushing and defense.
