The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are fresh off a 28-9 victory over the Syracuse Orange, and now face a very difficult team in the #14 Florida State Seminoles. Find out what changes are in the depth chart, and then hear what head coach Dave Clawson had to say about Wake’s performance against Syracuse and his thoughts on FSU.
The depth chart looks extremely similar to last week’s depth chart. The main differences are that Cade Carney is back to being the number one running back, and Johnny Armstrong has passed Steven Claude as the team’s first string kickoff returner. Neither of those depth chart changes should come as a surprise if you saw the game against Syracuse. Josh Harris is still listed as the team’s starting center, so hopefully he will be able to play this week. A’Lique Terry was played well in his absence, but FSU’s defensive line is formidable.
In Clawson’s press conference he discussed his team’s resiliency, his respect for Jimbo Fisher’s tenure at FSU, and the 1-0 every week mentality that he is instilling in his time. It’s about 20 minutes long, but definitely worth a listen.
We will continue to have more coverage of the Wake vs. FSU game as the week goes along.
