The Deacs will once again set out to return to Winston-Salem with a conference road win. It is something that Wake Forest has yet to do under Danny Manning and it is a trend that has haunted Wake Forest since the 2009-2010 season. Wake Forest has performed much better in road and neutral site games this season, but still hasn't closed in an ACC contest.
Wake will probably be getting Notre Dame at less than full strength, so it will be a nice opportunity. January has been brutal to the Demon Deacons, but hopefully they can recover from Tuesday's debacle and finish the month on a high note. February has a lot of winnable games, so I'm hoping to see Wake pull off the upset and then ride some momentum into February.
As always, go Deacs!
